This settlement, built on the ruins of Karmylassos, is now known as Kayaköy. Located approximately 8-10 km away from the center of Fethiye, Kayaköy is an old city consisting of stone houses. Formerly known as Lebessos, Kayaköy offers a unique opportunity for those who want to get to know the rich history of Fethiye more closely. It has a wonderful walking path where you can see the remnants of the ancient settlement at every step you take.
