Every SIV course flight ends over water — and every pilot wears a life jacket. FLYSPOT rents life jackets for SIV training for 5 € a day. Book one together with your course, collect it from our office in Ölüdeniz before your first flight, and hand it back after your last one. No hidden extras.
Life jackets are there to open. If yours ever opens — in training or by accident — we repack it for 60 €. The repack includes new tubes and a fresh water cartridge, so the jacket leaves our hands tested and ready for its next deployment. There is nothing else to pay.
On a SIV course you are busy — collapsing the wing, holding a stall, exiting a spin. A life jacket means you never think about the water below you. If you land in the lagoon or the sea, you float while you pack up or wait for the boat. It is the cheapest piece of insurance on the course.
