SIV Life Jacket Opened? The 60 € Repack
What Does “Opened” Mean?
A life jacket is “opened” when it has deployed — inflated in training, pulled by accident, or fired by its water-activated system during a landing in the sea. The jacket did its job. After that, it needs to be serviced before the next flight.
What the 60 € Repack Covers
FLYSPOT repacks an opened life jacket for 60 €. The price includes new tubes and a fresh water cartridge: the jacket is dried, re-folded, fitted with the new parts, packed and checked, ready for its next deployment.
Why Repacking Must Be Done Properly
A badly folded life jacket can fail exactly when it matters most — in the water. A proper repack with new tubes and a fresh water cartridge is the only way to know the jacket will open when it should. That is why we service every opened jacket ourselves.
How It Works
- Bring the opened jacket back to the FLYSPOT office in Ölüdeniz.
- We repack it for 60 €, including new tubes and a fresh water cartridge.
- It is ready for the next flight — or, if it was a rental, the rental simply ends.
