THK Tandem Pilot Licence (T-2)

What is THK?

Türk Hava Kurumu (THK), the Turkish Aeronautical Association, was founded in 1925. It trains pilots in air sports such as paragliding, gliding and parachuting at its aviation training centres.

Our T-2 certificate

The certificate below is a THK paragliding certificate (Yamaçparaşüt Sertifikası) of the type Ticari Tandem Pilot “T-2”, a commercial tandem pilot rating. It qualifies the holder to fly paying passengers on a two-seat tandem paraglider. It was issued on 4 November 2021 by the THK Karain Aviation Training Centre and states that it was granted in accordance with THK and FAI regulations.

What it means for you

• “Commercial” means the pilot is qualified to take paying passengers.
• “Tandem” means flying a two-seat wing with you in front and the pilot behind.
• You can ask to see the original certificate before your flight.
