What is THSF?

Türkiye Hava Sporları Federasyonu (THSF), the Turkish Air Sports Federation, is one of Turkey’s national sports federations under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It governs air sports in Turkey, including paragliding, hang gliding, parachuting and paramotor flying.

What does a federation licence mean?

Paragliding pilots in Turkey are trained, registered and licensed within the federation system. A tandem pilot licence means the pilot has finished the training, built up the flying experience and passed the checks needed to fly with a passenger.
