T2Commercial tandem pilot

The licence to fly paying passengers.

T2 is the commercial tandem licence, the one every pilot flying paying guests at Babadağ needs. Our own certificate below is a THK “Ticari Tandem Pilot T-2”.

What it allowsCommercial tandem flights with paying passengers, with the required insurance in place.

Before you start

  • T1 certificate
  • At least 180 days since T1
  • At least 100 tandem flights as pilot
  • Assessment before acceptance

What you learn

  • Everything from T1, to a higher standard
  • Weather judgement and landing accuracy
  • Reserve deployment and emergency scenarios
  • Insurance and commercial operating rules

To complete the level

  • Practical and theory assessment
  • Course length: about 1–2 weeks
  • No commercial flying until the insurance procedures are complete
